Partying
In "Romeo and Juliet""Now I'll tell you without asking. My master is the great rich Capulet, and, if you be not of the house of Montagues, I pray come and crush a cup of wine. Rest you merry." -Servingman, 1.2 Lines: 85-88
Sparks and Punches Flew at Capulet's Latest PartyLord Capulet has done it again. Last night he threw another extravagant party for Verona. As long as you weren't associated with the Montagues, you were able to come and join in on the fun. This common rule, however, was slightly disobeyed and over-looked last night and is what the source of the party's drama is. Many bystanders say that Lord Montague's son, Romeo, and a few of his friends crashed the party. They did this without Capulet knowing, at first. Sources tell us the reasoning behind doing so, was not to ruin the party or cause any harm what-so ever. Romeo was looking to find Rosaline, his current love interest, at the party. As hard as they tried, Romeo and his friends did not stay hidden amongst the crowd for long. Before they knew it, one of Capulet's men, Tyblat sought them out. He immediatly told Capulet, who was not amused. Some of the people at the party claimed, "he may have had too much to drink," because it was strange of him not to care much about having Montagues there. Tybalt, however was very short tempered and furious at this yelled with fury that the Montagues had crashed their party. At this, Capulet too had lost his temper and very distinctly punched Tybalt in the face. Tensions were already strong and the party was only getting stronger. The rest of the party went on with out anything out of the ordinary, until Romeo and Juliet met. Romeo, had one thing in mind that night and it was strictly to find Rosaline. He, however, was blown away when he met Juliet, Lord Capulet's daughter. One bystander, Susan Smarft, was very shocked. "Everybody was having a great time and dancing. I saw one couple that looked like they had been married for a long time and a good marriage. I was very shocked to find that they were children, and even more shocked to see they were the children of two enemies!" said Smarft, shortly after the party. Overall the Capulet's party was fun as always, but this time, with a new romance involved.

Missouri Couple Recovering from $370K ‘Project X’ Party, VandalismImagine a movie scene in which a wild teenager's party gets out of hand at an unsuspecting homeowner's property -- only this time the situation isn't funny as four teens were convicted of burglary. That's what happened to Steve Johnston and his wife Kathy Keithley-Johnston in Columbia, Mo. Repairs are just now starting on the couple's uninhabitable home four months after the wild party inspired by the movie "Project X." The Columbia Daily Tribune reports Keithley-Johnston took matters into her own hands and found pictures of the party on Twitter and Facebook from teens who were identified in their home. Some of the teens were shown wearing the couple's
clothing and holding their stolen property. Police have the photos but didn't comment to the wife or the media outlet citing an ongoing investigation. How did the teens get access to the house? The married couple went to Arizona for vacation Dec. 19. Keithley-Johnston left the home in the care of her best friend. Two days after the couple left Missouri, the 15-year-old grandson of the best friend threw a wild party after stealing the house key. The wife told the Tribune family members of the boy who stole the key claimed he was inspired by the movie "Project X" and invited a few friends over. Police told the couple around 60 to 70 young people, most of them from Rock Bridge High School, invaded their home for the massive party. How much damage was caused to the couple's home? The couple alleges more than $70,000 in damage was caused by the teens and more than $300,000 of valuables were stolen. The list of missing items includes Southwestern art, baseball cards, designer handbags and 10 guns. Damages range from excrement on walls, drugs on tabletops, holes in walls and destroyed tile. A photo on the Tribune website shows an interior bathroom wall made of sheetrock completely punched through. http://news.yahoo.com/missouri-couple-recovering-370k-project-x-party-vandalism-193400114.html |
